Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500M
Intel GMA 4500MHD (bazen GMA X4500 HD veya benzer isimlerle de adlandırılır), DirectX 10 uyumlu ;GM45, GE45 ve GS45 Centrine 2 platformunda (Montevina) kullanılan dahili grafik kartı. Çip dahili bir belleğe sahip olmasada dinamik olarak
sistem belleğini (384MB'ye kadar) paylaşmakta.
400MHz saat hızına sahip 4500MHD GL40 ve GS40 çipsetlerinde mevcut olup GMA 4500M olarak adlandırılmakta ve 3D oyunlarda daha kötü bir performans sunmakta. Selefi olan X3100 ile kıyaslanıldığında GMA 4500MHD iki adet daha fazla shadera ve 33 MHz daha yüksek saat hızına sahip. Dolayısıyla çip eskisine nazaran (özellikle 3DMark06 da) daha hızlı. Yinede performans giriş seviyesi kartlarla aynı düzeyde bu yüzden performansı gelişmiş oyunlar için ideal değil.
Fear gibi eski oyunlar düşük detay ve çözünürlükte oynanabilir.
Nvidia GeForce 9400M (G 102M) veya AMD ATI Radeon HD 3200 ile kıyaslanıldığında GMA 4500M HD farkedilir şekilde daha yavaş ve oyunlar için daha az optimize edilmiş sürücülere sahip.
GS45 de bulunan versiyon ise daha düşük saat hızına sahip (533'e karşın 320MHz) ve sadece FSB 800 (FSB 533/1066'ya karşın) desteklemekte. Buna ek olarak dönüşümlü grafik sistemi sadece
GM45 çipsetinde mevcut. GE45 GM45 ile aynı özelliklere sahip olmakla beraber Macrovision tarafından sertifikalandırılmış.
GMA çipinin yeni bir özelliğide dahili HD işleme özellikleri. GM45 HD videoları AVC, VC-2 ve MPEG-2 formatında işleyebilmekte. Bu sayede Blu-Ray oynatma imkanı düşük işlemcili
bilgisayarlarda da mümkün hale geliyor (sadece 533MHz saat hızına sahip GM45 ve GS45 versiyonlarında).
GL40 ve Gs40 çipsetindeki grafik çekirdeği 400MHz saat hızına sahip GMA 4500M. Düşük saat hızından ötürü 4500M oyunlarda biraz daha kötü bir performans gösterip, akıcı bir Blu-Ray işleme kapasitesine sahip değil.
