All said, the Toshiba Satellite P845-S4200 is a solid choice for users looking to save a buck without having to settle for a bare-bones system. That said, the Acer Aspire V5-571-6869 offers similar performance for a significantly lower price, and for that reason it continues to reign as our Editors' Choice for budget laptops. Still, the Satellite P854-S4200 remains a good choice, and its handsomely designed chassis, solid battery life, and low price all go a long way toward disproving the notion that systems in this price range must necessarily compromise performance or design.

For just $599, the Toshiba Satellite P845-S4200 offers an attractive overall package, both in terms of looks and performance. It holds up well against pricier Ultrabooks (the HP Envy 4-1030US is currently $749 and a similarly configured Dell Inspiron 14z is $749), while delivering very loud speakers and plenty of space for all of your files. We've used better keyboards, but overall the P845 is quite a bargain.

The Satellite P845T is already on sale. OK, so file transfer is not lightning quick, and dedicated typists would probably complain about the lack of solid feedback from the keys. But the touchscreen more than makes up for it. Intel’s HD4000 means current titles are only playable at low settings, but heck, touchscreen Windows 8 laptop for $700 – anyone looking for an inexpensive mid-ranger needs a good excuse not to opt for the P845T.

With its decent performance and feature set, the Toshiba Satellite P845T-S4310 is a good option for anyone on the market for a touch-enabled Windows 8 mainstream laptop. That said, though, it's not nearly as good a value as the Asus VivoBook S400CA-UH51, which delivers similar specs, a touch screen, and a slim ultrabook form-factor while costing $200 less. Moreover, it can't unseat the Lenovo IdeaPad Y480 from its reign as our Editors' Choice for mainstream laptop since the latter sports a beefier processor, discrete graphics, and an exponentially more comfortable keyboard, and all for less than $100 more. Still, the Satellite P845T-S4310 is worth checking out for users who prefer a combination of touch functionality and solid performance.

The Toshiba Satellite P845t-S4310 is a pretty nice computer, with nice speakers, a useable touchscreen, and some expensive-looking design elements. But I can’t help but think that a computer this bulky and under-performing needs a lower price-point. For just a couple hundred more you can pick up an Ultrabook that probably performs better, has the same processor, and weighs less. So unless you’re really on a tight budget, I’d look for something a bit sleeker.

The Toshiba Satellite P845T is an affordable 14-inch laptop with a touchscreen that’s unashamed of its girth, with excellent connectivity and an optical drive. Overall, the Satellite P845T is an odd mix of premium and budget; with metal and glass used in its chassis, amazing speakers, and a backlit keyboard on the one hand joining an average screen, sub-par typing experience, slow hard drive and mediocre build quality on the other. If you want all the features it offers it’s a decent buy, but for most there will be better alternatives.

Toshiba's Satellite P840 is a good all-rounder, but it's let down by a very reflective screen, a questionable screen build quality, the lack of solid state storage, and the lack of a dual-band Wi-Fi adapter. For a premium model, these issues are hard to overlook. The plus side is that you get a good configuration that offers plenty of performance for office apps and multimedia, and its keyboard feels nice to type on.

Toshiba, Japonya kökenli uluslararası bir şirketler grubudur. Şirketin asıl işi altyapı hizmetleri, tüketici ürünleri ve elektronik cihaz ve bileşenlerinden oluşmakta. Toshiba en büyük uluslararası notebook üreticilerinden biri olup, hakkında birçok inceleme bulunmaktadır.

Çok seçici olmayan oyunlar akıcı olarak oynanabilir. Ama düşük çözünürlüğe ve dolayısıyla düşük detaylara hazır olun. Yine de bu kartlar ofis ve video görüntüleme (HD Videolar içinde uygun olduğu söylenebilir) konularında yeterli performansı veriyor.

Intel HD Graphics 4000:

Üst sınıf Ivy Bridge modellerinde kullanılan işlemci grafik kartı. Farklı modellerde farklı saat hızları ile geldiğinden değişken bir performans alınabilir.
