Huawei MateBook 14s, 90 Hz’lik ve 2.5K çözünürlüklü ekranıyla dikkat çekiyor. Göz alıcı bir tasarıma sahip olan dizüstü bilgisayar aynı zamanda bir ilke de ima atıyor Huawei dizüstü bilgisayar ailesine yeni üyelerle genişletmeye devam ediyor. En son incelediğimiz MateBook D15 2021‘in ardından ofisimize gelen Huawei MateBook 14s, hem tasarımı hem de sunduğu özelliklerle dikkat çeken bir dizüstü bilgisayar. Bilgisayar yeşil ve uzay grisi olmak üzere iki farklı renk seçeneğiyle sunuluyor. Biz dizüstü bilgisayarın yeşil renkli modelini test ettik ve bu renk çoğu kişinin ilgisini çekmeyi başardı. Tasarımı ve ekran performansıyla dikkat çeken MateBook 14s, Windows 10 Home yüklü geliyor. Biz bu işletim yerine Windows 11’i kurarak hem işletim sisteminin yeniliklerini hem de dizüstü bilgisayarın Windows 11’de gösterdiği performansı deneme fırsatı bulduk.

Overall, the Huawei MateBook 14s is a good compact device loaded with features and power. Let’s start with the design. The machine looks stylish, it has a premium aluminum build, thin profile, thin bezels around the display, and low weight. It’s hard to ask for more in this section. The TL142GDXP02-0 (TMX1420) display panel has comfortable viewing angles, good sRGB color coverage, and a 90Hz refresh rate. In addition, this screen has a 3:2 aspect ratio (very comfortable for Web browsing and Office work), 2520 х 1680 resolution, and it’s PWM-free so you don’t have to worry if you need to use your laptop for longer periods. At the end of the day, the Huawei MateBook 14s is a compact, well-built machine with great battery life, snappy performance, and a great 90Hz 3:2 touchscreen display. Expectedly, the price is on the high side but the device is a solid offer with a lot of pros.

As long as available in your region, you're getting a whole lot for your money with this MateBook 14s series: sturdy craftsmanship and build quality, alright looks, decent inputs and IO, punchy audio, and an excellent productivity-focused 3:2 display with touch, as well as a balanced hardware implementation that can handle everyday loads and multitasking with little sweat, with fair temperatures and mostly quiet noise levels. This is not without some quirks, though, as explained in the review down below.

The MateBook 14s is a very good laptop. Perhaps its main advantage is the 14.2 LTPS screen with a convenient 3:2 aspect ratio, excellent picture quality, a resolution of 2520×1680 and 90 Hz. It is also difficult to complain about performance, and both Core i5-11300H and Core i7-11370H are suitable for moderate gaming and working with graphics. At the same time, the laptop is very quiet, rarely uses fans, and mostly stays cool. The Huawei MateBook 14s with a Core i5-11300H processor, 8 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD costs about $1,200. The same option, but with 16 GB of RAM (our one) costs almost $250 more! A top-end model with Core i7-11370H, 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage will cost you almost $ 1,850! In short, the new MateBook 14s is not affordable at all. I’m not saying that the model is not worth the money, but Huawei has high appetites. However, the Chinese brand aims at the premium segment. More precisely, it’s already there. Nobody complains that MacBooks are expensive, right? People count out the money and buy them. Huawei asks the same. And whether to pay or not is up to you to decide.

Główną zaletą MateBook 14s jest ekran LTPS o przekątnej 14,2 cala, wygodnych proporcjach 3:2 i częstotliwości odświeżania 90 Hz. Trudno też narzekać na wydajność. Jednocześnie laptop jest cichy, prawie się nie nagrzewa. Klawiatura i touchpad są wygodne, a żywotność baterii jest godna pochwały. Idealny montaż, materiały premium, ciekawy kolor. MateBook 14s nie ma krytycznych wad, z wyjątkiem tego, że cena jest dość wysoka.

Huawei MateBook 14s (Core i5-11300H) Review

The Huawei MateBook 14s is an excellent addition to the MateBook family and, in some aspects, better than the MateBook D 15, 2021, MateBook 14 2021, or the MateBook X Pro 2021. It has an attractive and premium design, an immersive screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and touch support, a webcam positioned at the top of the screen (which we prefer, by the way), good performance, and long battery life. Huawei is yet to reveal the price of the MateBook 14s, though, so we’re yet to determine how it fits in the family, but it’s a worthy addition. It would satisfy regular users looking for a productivity laptop or those already invested in the Huawei ecosystem and looking for an excellent upgrade.
