I enjoyed my short test period with this Intel Core i5 unit. I can see that site managers and the like giving this good use. There is a countertop cradle for those who think it could help and also a car unit. I also notes that Panasonic give the unit a full three year warranty. The quality screen is non reflective which for outdoor use is vital.

If you’re a consumer, you may not consider one of these for daily use. Maybe you will, and you won’t be disappointed. Maybe you’re a home mechanic and like to look up repair guides in the garage but don’t want to ruin a delicate MacBook with dirty hands. Panasonic Toughbook 55 review: Made for the literal road warrior

Listen, the Panasonic Toughbook 55 is obviously not a consumer-grade device, this thing is made for road warriors who are terribly rough on their gear. Of course, that doesn’t mean you can’t buy it. Given the purpose for which it’s built, the Panasonic Toughbook 55 is an amazing choice and will stand up to the conditions in which it is made to be used.

If you’re a normal consumer, you probably won’t be able to get one of these Panasonic Toughbooks. It’s really the type of laptop that will probably be issued to you by an employer. Due to the modular nature of the FZ-55, you’re also losing some of the ruggedness that other Panasonic Toughbooks can boast, but naturally that’s a compromise you’ll have to consider. Does it need to be totally waterproof or does it need to be flexible enough to swap out hardware components at a moment’s notice? If you need to swap out hardware components on a mobile computer as easily as you could with a desktop tower or server, there’s really nothing else on the market that will let you do that as easily as the Panasonic Toughbook FZ-55.

Like I said in the beginning, the Panasonic Toughbook 55 is just so cool. It's a geek's dream. You can easily swap out components, there are modular accessories, there are different night vision modes, and you can even make the backlight of the keyboard any color you want. Of course, this really isn't made for geeks. It's made for businesses, and their workers that are heading out into the field, sometimes in extreme conditions. It's for people that might not have access to Wi-Fi where they're going, or even access to power. If you buy one just to geek out over the cool features, I wouldn't hold it against you though.

Panasonic daha çok sert arazi koşullarında kullanılmak üzere tasarlanmış sert-korumalı notebooklar üzerinde yoğunlaşmaktadır.
Çok seçici olmayan oyunlar akıcı olarak oynanabilir. Ama düşük çözünürlüğe ve dolayısıyla düşük detaylara hazır olun. Yine de bu kartlar ofis ve video görüntüleme (HD Videolar içinde uygun olduğu söylenebilir) konularında yeterli performansı veriyor.

Üst sınıf Ivy Bridge modellerinde kullanılan işlemci grafik kartı. Farklı modellerde farklı saat hızları ile geldiğinden değişken bir performans alınabilir.
Intel HD Graphics 4200: Bazý ULV Haswell iþlemcilerde kullanýlan iþlemci grafik kartý.
Intel HD Graphics 400 (Braswell):
Intel Braswell serilerinde yer alan (2016 Celeron) dahili grafik kartı. Broadwell mimarisi tabanlı (Intel Gen8) ve DirectX 11.2 desteğine sahip. İşlemcinin özelliğine bağlı olarak 12 shader çekirdeğine kadar farklı saat hızlarıyla gelebilmekte.

Skylake jenerasyonu Core-m işlemcilerde yer alan dahili grafik kartı.
Sadece eski oyunlar bu grafik kartları ile akıcı bir şekilde (eğer yüksek bir sistem gereksinimi duymuyorlarsa) oynanabilir. Bu kategorideki paylaşımlı grafik çekirdekleri az ısınma ve daha uzun batarya ömrü gibi avantajlara sahip. Ofis, internet, şekil düzenleme ve video editleme gibi işlemler herhangi bir kısıtlama olmadan bu grafik kartları ile yapılabilir.
Qualcomm Adreno 330:
OpenGL ES 3.0 destekli dahili grafik kartı.
Bu tür grafik kaetları oyunlar için pek ideal değil. Eğer bir oyunu çalıştıracak olurlarsa ya grafiksel hatalarla ya da düşük frame oranlarıyla çalıştırabilirler. Oyuncular için uygun değiller. Ofis ve internet ise oyunların aksine bu GPU lar için sorun değil.

Oyun oynamak isteyen kullanıcılar için en son seçenek. Yeni oyunlar bu kartlarda çalışacaktır, ama sadece düşük detaylar ve orta çözünürlükte.
