Functionality, portability and build quality are the order of the day

We would like to give our final thoughts on two of the most important factors regarding business-oriented ultrabooks – the keyboard and the battery life. Firstly, the keys are a bit small to make room for the “F” buttons, but this actually isn’t a major problem and it’s easy to get used to it. In addition, the touchpad offers the much-needed comfort, responsiveness, and functionality, but we disliked the trackpad – it’s quite unpleasant to touch and feels awkward to use. Secondly, the battery life appears to be underwhelming. For a small, energy-efficient system a bit better battery performance was expected so in this aspect, the Portege Z30-A left us wanting more.

Intel HD Graphics 4400: Bazı Haswell işlemci modellerinde bulunan 20 işlem ünitesine sahip grafik kartı.
Çok seçici olmayan oyunlar akıcı olarak oynanabilir. Ama düşük çözünürlüğe ve dolayısıyla düşük detaylara hazır olun. Yine de bu kartlar ofis ve video görüntüleme (HD Videolar içinde uygun olduğu söylenebilir) konularında yeterli performansı veriyor.

Haswell tabanlı ULV çift çekirdekli işlemci. Temel saat hızı 2.0 GHz olup Turbo Boost desteği ile 3.1 GHz hızına çıkabilmekte. Dahili HD Graphics 4400 ve çift kanallı DDR3 bellek kontrolörü ile gelmekte.
