Compared with other laptops aimed at the same demographic like the Fujitsu Lifebook E8410- this islarger and bulkier than the Lifebook, but at a much reduced cost. The L350 costs just over $1000 depending on the retailer, whereas the Lifebook is going to hit you up for $1600. I was left less than impressed for a 17" notebook, but to be fair the Toshiba L350 Satellite Pro is a fine enough laptop for the cubicle bound business person. But for the commuter, student, artist, movie watcher or laptop enthusiast, there are plenty of better laptops out there that will be easier on the back if not on the wallet.

But that power comes in a large and clunky package, without much incentive to be used as a mobile PC. Like using a filing cabinet as a paper weight, this laptop can certainly get the job done, but it takes up much more room than necessary.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100, Mobile Intel 965GM (500MHz çekirdek hızına sahip) ve 960GM (400MHz) çipine entegre edilmiş onboard bir kart (Merom için Core 2 mimarisi).
Bu tür grafik kaetları oyunlar için pek ideal değil. Eğer bir oyunu çalıştıracak olurlarsa ya grafiksel hatalarla ya da düşük frame oranlarıyla çalıştırabilirler. Oyuncular için uygun değiller. Ofis ve internet ise oyunların aksine bu GPU lar için sorun değil.

Intel Core 2 Duo: Daha fazla tüketime ihtiyaç duymayan ve daha uzun aktarım hatlarına sahip Core Duo ve Core Solo işlemcilerin yeni nesli. Core Duo dizanynına ek olarak 4. bir decoder, güçlendirilmiş SSE unitesi ve ek Aritmetik mantık ünitesi ( ALU ) mevcut.
Core 2 Duo Laptop işlemcileri masa üstü işlemcilerle benzer. Sadece daha düşük voltaj ile çalışmakta (0.95 Volt - 1188 Volt) ve daha düşük frontside bus saat hızına sahip (1066 MHz karşı 667 MHz). Aynı hıza sahip olsalarda laptop Core 2 Duo işlemcileri masa üstü versiyonlarına oranla daha düşük frontside bus ve yavaş hard disklerinden ötürü 20 - 25% daha yavaş.
