EN→TRRyzen 7 7840HS is a high-performance mobile processor specially designed by AMD for thin and light notebooks. It is based on TSMC’s 4nm process technology, Zen4 CPU architecture, eight cores and 16 threads, a base frequency of 3.8GHz, and an acceleration frequency of up to 5.1GHz. In addition, there are 8MB L2 cache and 16MB L3 cache. Compared with the Zen3 architecture of Ryzen 9 6900HS, its performance has increased by more than 15%. The core display is upgraded to the Radeon 780M with RNDA3 architecture, which has 12 CU units with 768 stream processors. In addition, due to the dual launch design of the stream processor unit design, the floating point performance of RDNA3 is twice that of RDNA2 with the same number of stream processors.
