The Original. Acer fielded the A110L Netbook last summer. These 8.9" netbooks were originally shipped with Linpus Linux Lite. Later on, devices with XP were offered. The tested notebook came with pre-installed Linpus Linux, but was tested with Windows XP Home 32-bit as operating system. This review will clarify in how far the AOA110-Aw is in accordance with out criteria and under which circumstances changing to Windows XP is possible.

EN→TR Archive.org versionThis Linux netbook is budget all the way. Outside of the Asus Eee series, the Acer Aspire One models are the best-known netbooks on the market. Currently two models of the Aspire One A110 range are available, one featuring flash (SSD) storage and the other a more traditional hard drive. If you plan to do work on the go, though, or play games, you'll find the stuttering SD very painful – and with the hard drive model's price tag around the £220 mark, it's not so much of a bargain. In that case you'll want to consider looking elsewhere, such as the Asus Eee PC range.

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 950: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 ( aynı zamanda GMA 950 olarakta bilinir) Intelin 915 GM chipset’i için ürettiği onboard entegre grafik kartı modeli. GMA 900’ün saat hızı arttırılmış versiyonu ve donanımsal hesaplamaları (Transform ve Lightning) desteklememekte ( bazı oyunlar için gerekli özellik).
Bu tür grafik kaetları oyunlar için pek ideal değil. Eğer bir oyunu çalıştıracak olurlarsa ya grafiksel hatalarla ya da düşük frame oranlarıyla çalıştırabilirler. Oyuncular için uygun değiller. Ofis ve internet ise oyunların aksine bu GPU lar için sorun değil.

Intel Atom:
Intel Atom serisi 64-Bit bir işlemci olup UMPC ve MID türü gibi küçük notebooklar için ucuz bir işlemci alternatifidir. Yeni mimarinin özelliği “in order” uygulamasını kullanması. Böylece transistor sayısı azaltılıp, daha ucuz bir üretim mümkün.
N270: Güç tasarruflu, ucuz ce yavaş tek çekirdekli netbook işlemcisi. Performansı aynı saat hızına sahip Core Solo veya Celeron M işlemcilere oranla daha kötü.
