For those that want some top of the line performance while not suffering in the portability and ease of use department — you could certainly do worse. The battery life barely managing 5 hours no matter the task was a problem with the small battery however. For a few more dollars you could get a bigger screen and better battery life with similar performance. Do you need the lightweight and small size? If so this is the notebook for you.

The Acer Aspire V5 is no powerhouse. It’s also doesn’t offer outstanding endurance, or a great display or groundbreaking design. The V5 is relying on two features: It’s inexpensive, and it’s light. These facts provide a reasonable argument for buying a V5. Few options exist in the world of budget ultraportables, and those competitors are going to have few significant advantages over the V5.

Intel HD Graphics 4000:
Üst sınıf Ivy Bridge modellerinde kullanılan işlemci grafik kartı. Farklı modellerde farklı saat hızları ile geldiğinden değişken bir performans alınabilir.
Çok seçici olmayan oyunlar akıcı olarak oynanabilir. Ama düşük çözünürlüğe ve dolayısıyla düşük detaylara hazır olun. Yine de bu kartlar ofis ve video görüntüleme (HD Videolar içinde uygun olduğu söylenebilir) konularında yeterli performansı veriyor.
