This Core i5-3317U CPU is one that we find in a lot of the new Windows 8 laptops, which is a good thing because it offers solid all-around performance. In real-world testing, we encountered no issues while watching streaming HD videos, multitasking and using image editing software. The integrated Intel graphics will not provide you enough power for 3D gaming but will do just fine for anything else.

The Acer Aspire V5 is only competitive as an entry-level laptop. Jacking the price up to $730 without addressing battery life or performance has predictable results. Touch is the justification for this model’s unusually high price, yet Acer hasn’t made any effort to integrate the touch experience into the laptop. The screen is too far away to reach comfortably, and the laptop is too large and heavy to constantly move about.

Intel HD Graphics 4000:
Üst sınıf Ivy Bridge modellerinde kullanılan işlemci grafik kartı. Farklı modellerde farklı saat hızları ile geldiğinden değişken bir performans alınabilir.
Çok seçici olmayan oyunlar akıcı olarak oynanabilir. Ama düşük çözünürlüğe ve dolayısıyla düşük detaylara hazır olun. Yine de bu kartlar ofis ve video görüntüleme (HD Videolar içinde uygun olduğu söylenebilir) konularında yeterli performansı veriyor.
