Kasa ve Bağlanabilirlik - Acer P4, Thunderbolt 4 ile birlikte geliyor

Acer, mat, koyu mavi (Arduvaz Mavisi) renkte gelen ince bir metal kasayı tercih etti. Boşluk boyutları uygundur ve keskin kenarlar fark edilmez. Ana ünite ve kapak biraz bükülebilir - ancak tüm durum bundan ibaret, fazlası değil. Kapağın maksimum açıklık açısı 180 derecedir. Pil, cihaza sıkıca yerleştirilmiştir. Bakım kapağı yoktur.

TravelMate'in iki USB-A bağlantı noktası, USB 3.2 Gen 1 standardına göre çalışır. Ayrıca, USB-C başına Güç Dağıtımını ve DisplayPort'u destekleyen bir USB-C Thunderbolt 4 yuvası vardır. Dizüstü bilgisayarın HDMI çıkışıyla birlikte iki video çıkışı vardır. microSD hafıza kartı okuyucusu (referans kartı: AV PRO microSD 128 GB V60) yavaş modeller arasındadır.

Optimum koşullar altında belirlenen Wi-Fi veri hızları (yakınlarda başka Wi-Fi cihazı yok, dizüstü bilgisayar ile sunucu PC arasındaki kısa mesafe) genellikle iyidir, ancak açıkça yerleşik Wi-Fi yongasının özelliklerinin gerisindedir ( Intel AX201).

Acer, LTE modemle donatılmış TravelMate çeşitleri sunar. İnceleme örneğimiz bunlardan biri değil. Gerekli yuva, LTE antenleri ve bir SIM kart yuvası bulunmadığından cihazı yükseltmek mümkün olmaz.

Giriş Birimleri - TravelMate, aydınlatmalı bir klavyeye sahiptir

Alttan aydınlatmalı chiclet klavyenin düz tuşları kısa hareket mesafesine ve net bir baskı noktasına sahiptir. Klavye, yazarken merkezde minimum düzeyde eğilir. Yine de rahatsız edici olduğu kanıtlanmadı. Tek seviyeli aydınlatma bir fonksiyon tuşu ile kontrol edilir. Acer burada günlük kullanıma uygun bir klavye sunuyor.

Çoklu dokunmatik özellikli ClickPad (yaklaşık 10,5 x 6,5 cm) farenin yerini alır ve pürüzsüz yüzeyi parmakların üzerinde kaymasını kolaylaştırır. Ped ayrıca köşelerdeki girişlere de yanıt verir. Kısa bir seyahat mesafesi ve net bir basınç noktası vardır.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

İşlemci

Core i5-1135G7 dört  çekirdekli işlemci (Tiger Lake), 2,4 GHz temel saat hızında çalışır. Turbo aracılığıyla 3,8 GHz'e (tüm çekirdekler) ve 4,2 GHz'e (tek çekirdek) kadar bir artış mümkündür. Hyper-Threading (çekirdek başına iki iş parçacığı) desteklenir.

Cinebench R15 testinin çoklu iş parçacığı testi, kısa bir süre için 3,3 ila 3,8 GHz'de çalıştırılır, ardından saat hızı 3 ila 3,2 GHz arasına düşer. Tek iş parçacığı testi 1,6 ila 4,2 GHz'de işlenir. Saat hızları pil gücünde önemli ölçüde daha düşüktür.

Cinebench R15 kıyaslamasının çoklu iş parçacığı testini sürekli bir döngüde en az 30 dakika çalıştırarak İşlemci Turbo'nun fişe takıldığında da tutarlı bir şekilde kullanılıp kullanılmadığını doğrularız.
