Getac is no stranger to first responders and field workers (and no stranger to these pages). Indeed, we reviewed the first Getac B360 13.3-inch rugged laptop in 2020, and it remained our top pick among fully rugged notebooks until it was edged out by the 14-inch Panasonic Toughbook 40 in 2022. Now, the new B360 G2 (starts at $3,669; $5,476 as tested) is as indestructible as the original with enhanced processing power and connectivity, including what the company says is the first 5G mobile broadband in a rugged laptop. The Toughbook 40 keeps its Editors' Choice tag for its greater post-purchase modularity or customizability, but the Getac is a more portable (5.11 versus 7.4 pounds) option that won't let you down in the worst conditions.
