If not for the elephant in the room, Huawei would have a sure-fire winner on its hands with the new MatePad 11.5.5. It’s sleek, portable, and the 11.5-inch matte-finish screen is an absolute treat, seriously reducing reflections and providing more of a traditional pen-and-paper experience when paired with a stylus. The performance is solid for a tablet of its price, and the battery life is much better than last year’s model. The problem is that big ol’ elephant, and there’s no getting around it. Huawei’s lack of Google Play Services essentially means you need to turn into a one-person IT department just to get it to reach a similar baseline to what other Android tablets offer out of the box – and even then, there are still limitations on what you can do and the apps you can install. Huawei’s first-party alternative apps are well polished and do a decent job of closing the gap, but if you rely on Google services like Docs for work or school, it’s effectively dead on arrival.

Qualcomm Maleoon 920c: HiSilicon Kirin T82'ye entegre edilmiş akıllı telefonlar ve tabletler için grafik yongası. Ne yazık ki, Huawei herhangi bir ayrıntılı bilgi vermedi. Kesin olan şey, donanım tabanlı ışın izlemeyi desteklemediği ve yalnızca eski Vulkan 1.0 standardını desteklediğidir.
