Predator Helios 500 ile Acer bir kere daha avantaj yönünden zengin bir oyun cihazı sunuyor. Elbette mükemmelden uzak bir cihaz olduğu için detaylı bir inceleme gerektiriyor.

Öncelikle 144 Hz ekranın cevap süreleri oldukça hızlı. Yine de sRGB kapsamı tam değil ve 500:1 gibi düşük bir kontrat oranı var. Siyah renkler griye doğru kayıyor.

Genel olarak sistem değerleri, performans göz önüne alındığında kabul edilebilir. Daha iyi soğutma performansı imkanı da Cool Boost ile sunuluyor. Otomatik fan kontrolü sayesinde cihazın ofis ortamlarında sessiz kalması mümkün kılınmış.

Yapım kalitesi harika değil, plastik kasanın sağlamlığı ise bir diğer soru işareti. 2 adet Thunderbolt 3 olması elbette güzel ama SD kart okuyucu bu yüzden çıkarılmış.

Bakım yapmak çok kolay. RAM kapasitesi 64 GBye kadar çıkarılabiliyor, depolama alanı için 2x M2 SSD RAID ve 2.5 inçlik HDD kullanımı mümkün. Malesef M.2 desteği SATA ile sınırlı ve daha hızlı NVMe desteği yok.

Ses sistemi harika olsa d Predator 17 kadar iyi değil. Arayüzler yeterli, genel ağırlık olarak da sınıfı için düşük olduğu söylenebilir.

Cihazın bekleme modundaki güç tüketimi oldukça yüksek ve batarya kullanım süresi oldukça zayıf. Webcam veya mikrofon kalitesi de yeterli değil.

Eğer bu eksiklikleri bu fiyat için kabul edilemez görüyorsanız, Helios 300 daha makul bir seçim olabilir. En azından bugünki test cihazımızdan daha iyi güç tüketimine sahip olduğu kesin.
