However, the design on this laptop looks dated, and you'll have to settle for a third-generation Intel CPU. The $699 Acer Aspire M5 is a better deal because it offers an aluminum lid and deck, Intel's new Haswell architecture, and nearly double the battery life.

Looking back over this review, we do seem to have used the word ‘adequate' rather a lot. That pretty much sums up the L50T-A-130, as it's adequate in most respects but – apart from the beefy speakers – really doesn't stand out in any particular way. Cut the price by £100 and it'd be a good budget offering, but at £649.00 it may struggle to compete with its many mid-range rivals.

Let’s talk more about the hardware, though. The Core i7-5500U CPU paired with GeForce 930M are a great combination for everyday usage, multimedia experience and light gaming. Basically, as we said earlier, it’s a well-balanced mid-ranger. Nevertheless, we would like to address our concerns about the heat management as the CPU reached dangerously high temperatures, but we like to believe that this occurred due to the use of an engineering sample for the writing of this review. And last, but not least, the battery life. It could have been improved if the battery capacity was bigger because the hardware inside isn’t so demanding.

Toshiba, Japonya kökenli uluslararası bir şirketler grubudur. Şirketin asıl işi altyapı hizmetleri, tüketici ürünleri ve elektronik cihaz ve bileşenlerinden oluşmakta. Toshiba en büyük uluslararası notebook üreticilerinden biri olup, hakkında birçok inceleme bulunmaktadır.
Çok seçici olmayan oyunlar akıcı olarak oynanabilir. Ama düşük çözünürlüğe ve dolayısıyla düşük detaylara hazır olun. Yine de bu kartlar ofis ve video görüntüleme (HD Videolar içinde uygun olduğu söylenebilir) konularında yeterli performansı veriyor.
Intel HD Graphics 4000:
Üst sınıf Ivy Bridge modellerinde kullanılan işlemci grafik kartı. Farklı modellerde farklı saat hızları ile geldiğinden değişken bir performans alınabilir.
