To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. Yeni XPS 13 9370 modeline yönelik ilk izlenimlerimiz genel olarak çok iyi. Cihaz farkedilir şekilde daha ince olmasına karşın soğutma yönünden bir şey kaybetmemiş. Sonuç olarak quad-core ULV işlemcinin performansı yeterliden fazlası. BIOS ayarlarından CABC artık kapatılabiliyor. Bunun batarya kullanımına etkisini görmek için ek testler yapacağız.
Yeni cihazda kayda değer bir elektronik sesi de duymadık. En şaşırtan nokta ise parlak ekran oldu. Dokunmatik ekranların her daim parlak olmasına alışkınız ancak XPS 13 modelinin dokunmatik olmamasına rağmen ekranı mat değil. Bazı kullanıcılar için bu kesinlikle satın alma kararlarını etkileyecek bir faktor.
