Ideapad 710S modelinin Yoga 900, Spectre 13, MacBook Air 13 veya XPS 13 modellerine kıyasla belki de en büyük avantajı fiyatı. En basit konfigrasyonu ile bile oldukça hafif ve küçük bir cihaz sunuluyor ve rakiplerine göre oldukça makul fiyatlı. Bu da Lenovo cihazı alternatiflerine göre daha çekici kılıyor. Ekran, özellikle vurgulamak gerekirse, harika ve diğer cihazlara kıyasla renk üretimi yönünden oldukça iyi.

Batarya kullanım süreleri daha yüksek konfigrasyonlara göre çok farketmiyor, ancak fan sesi elbette yoğun kullanımda biraz daha fazla. Cihazla ilgili gördüğümüz en büyük sıkıntı ekran kapağının yeterince sağlam durmayışı. USB Type-C gibi modern bağlantı noktasının olmayışı da cihazı diğer rakiplerinden ayıran bir eksikliği.
