Asus bize Tiger Lake işlemcili ve RTX 3060'lı yeni, uygun fiyatlı TUF oyun dizüstü bilgisayarını gönderdi. Geçen yıl, önceki seriden Ryzen 7 ve GTX 1660 Ti ile donatılmış bir model olan TUF A17'yi inceledik. Yeni model, en azından grafik uygulamalarında ve oyunlarda çok daha hızlı olmalı, ancak 95 watt'lık toplam TGP, bir RTX 3060'ın orta ila düşük performans aralığında olmasına rağmen. Ekran artık eski 120 Hz yerine 144 Hz'i destekliyor.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

In comparison: 52 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 21047 (minimum: 5 - maximum: 3846000) Hz was measured.

Intel Core i9-11900H, 2,5 GHz temel saat hızında çalışan çekirdeklere sahip sekiz çekirdekli bir işlemcidir. Tüm çekirdekler Turbo modunda aynı anda 4,4 GHz'de çalışabilir ve tek bir çekirdek 4,9 GHz'e kadar ulaşabilir. TDP teorik olarak 45 watt'tır, ancak yapılandırılabilir.

Cinebench çoklu iş parçacığı döngüsünde performans neredeyse sabittir. Bir koşunun başlangıcında, TDP kısaca 92 watt'a yükselir (daha sonra sadece 85 watt) ve bir koşunun yarısından sonra yaklaşık 68 watt'a düşer.
