Intel Core i3-380UM
Intel Core i3-380UM, küçük laptoplar için geliştirilmiş ultra düşük voltajlı çift çekirdekli işlemci olup, 1.3 GHz saat hızına sahip ve Turbo Boost özelliğine sahip değil. I5 ve i7 işlemciler ile kıyaslanıldığında AES fonksiyon bloguna da sahip olmadığı gözlemlenmekte. Her bir çekirdek Nehalem (Westemere) mikro mimarisi üzerine kurulmuş. HyperThreading sayesinde işlemci 4 komutu eş zamanlı olarak işleyebilmekte.
Core i5-470UM, i5-560UM ve i7-660UM ile benzer şekilde 1.3GHz saatı hızına sahip olmasına karşın, TurboBoost olmadığı için daha yavaş kalmakta.
Core i3-380UM da bulunan bir diğer özellikte Intel HD Graphics adı altında gelen dahili grafik kartı ve bellek kontrolörü. Her ikisi de farklı bağlantı noktasında olmakta beraber 45nm ile üretilirken, CPU bağlantı noktası 32nm ile üretilmekte. GMA HD grafik kartı aynı zamanda TurboBoost kullanarak 133MHz ile 500MHz aralığında bir hıza ulaşabilmekte.
Dahili bellek kontrolörü ve HyperThreading sayesinde Core i3-380UM benzer saat hızına sahip bir Core 2 Duo işlemciden daha hızlı. Bu yüzden Pentium SU7300’e kıyasla daha iyi bir performans sunmakta ve hatta bazı alanlarda 2GHz Core 2 Duo’dan bile daha iyi bir performans verebilmekte. Yine de oyun performansı düşük saat hızından müzdarip kalabilir.
Maksimum güç tüketimi olan 18 Watt tüm paket için geçerli ve böylece Core 2 Duo SL serisi işlemcilerin 17 Wattlık güç tüketimine kıyasla açık ara daha iyi.
