Dizüstü bilgisayarın köşeli kasası herhangi bir yapı hatası göstermiyor. Acer pürüzsüz, mat bir yüzeye sahip gümüş (Saf Gümüş) bir alüminyum seçmiş. Sert menteşesi ve düşük ağırlığı nedeniyle dizüstü bilgisayarı tek elle açmak biraz zor. Piline (vidalı, yapıştırılmamış) ve dizüstü bilgisayarın diğer iç parçalarına, kasanın alt kısmını çıkardıktan sonra erişilebilir.

İki USB-A portu (USB 3.2 Gen 1) ve iki USB-C portu (Thunderbolt 4/USB 4; Power Delivery, DisplayPort) yer alıyor. Dizüstü bilgisayar toplamda üç adede kadar video çıkışı (1x HDMI, 2x DP) sunuyor. Takılı SD kart okuyucu (MicroSD) işleri çok yavaş götürüyor. QHD web kamerası (3,7 MP, maks. 2.560 x 1.440 piksel) oldukça iyi sonuçlar elde ediyor. Neden bir kapağa sahip olmadığını tam olarak anlamıyoruz.

Optimum koşullar altında (yakın çevrede WiFi cihazı yok, dizüstü bilgisayar ile sunucu bilgisayar arasında kısa mesafe), çok iyi WiFi veri hızlarına ulaşıyor. Dizüstü bilgisayar bir WiFi 6E çipi (Intel AX211) kullanıyor.

Display response times show how fast the screen is able to change from one color to the next. Slow response times can lead to afterimages and can cause moving objects to appear blurry (ghosting). Gamers of fast-paced 3D titles should pay special attention to fast response times.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

The frequency of 357 Hz is relatively high, so most users sensitive to PWM should not notice any flickering. However, there are reports that some users are still sensitive to PWM at 500 Hz and above, so be aware.

In comparison: 53 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 17146 (minimum: 5 - maximum: 3846000) Hz was measured.

Test koşulları

Fn + F tuş kombinasyonunu kullanarak veya alternatif olarak önceden yüklenmiş Hızlı Erişim uygulaması aracılığıyla üreticiye özgü üç performans profili (tabloya bakın) arasında geçiş yapabilirsiniz. "Performans modu" (kıyaslamalar) ve "sessiz mod" (pil testi) profilleri kullanıldı.

Performans ve normal modlar gerçekleştirdiğimiz tüm testlerde neredeyse aynı sonuçları verdi. Bu nedenle normal mod günlük kullanım için idealdir - özellikle fanlar daha gizli kullanıldığından. Bu durum Swift'in daha güçlü Raptor Lake H varyantlarında farklı olabilir.

BuCore i5-1335U'nin 10 CPU çekirdeği (2P, 8E) 4,6 GHz (P) ve 3,4 GHz (E) maksimum saat hızlarına ulaşır. Kalıcı çoklu iş parçacığı yükü (CB15 Döngüsü), saat hızlarının ilk çalıştırmadan ikinci çalıştırmaya hafifçe düşmesine neden olur. Bundan sonra sabit kalırlar.

İşlemci, önceki CPU ortalamasına kıyasla ortalamanın altında benchmark sonuçları elde etmiştir (şebekeye bağlıyken). Pil kullanımında, daha alakalı olan tek çekirdek performansı (139 puan; CB15), çoklu iş parçacığı performansından (1.087 puan; CB15) daha büyük ölçüde düşmektedir.
