Nvidia'nın GeForce RTX 4080 lansmanı, şirketin başlangıçta RTX 4090'ın yanı sıra iki RTX 4080 GPU'yu (RTX 4080 12 GB ve RTX 4080 16 GB ) duyurmasıyla biraz tartışmalı bir durumla başladı.

"4080" olarak markalamayı pek sıcak karşılamadı. Nvidia sonunda RTX 4080 12 GB'ı "piyasaya sürmedi" ve Ada neslinin amiral gemisi ana akım oyuncu ekran kartı olarak 16 GB varyantıyla karşınızdayız.

Ampere'de Nvidia, Ti sürümleri de dahil olmak üzere RTX 3090 ve RTX 3080 serisinde değişen CUDA çekirdek yapılandırmalarıyla aynı GA102 GPU'yu kullandı. Nvidia, RTX 4080 ile yalnızca kısaltılmış bir AD102 kalıbını yeniden kullanmakla kalmadı, aynı zamanda AD103 die de novo'yu da yarattı.

RTX 4080 zaten 1.000 ABD Dolarının üzerinde bir fiyata sahip, bu da Nvidia'nın neden birkaç CUDA çekirdeği daha olan nerfli bir AD102 kullanmadığını merak ediyor. Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition'a daha yakından bakıyoruz

The RTX 4080 requires only three 8-pin power connections from the PSU

Sentetik Performans Ölçümleri: RTX 3090 Ti ve RX 6950 XT üzerine önemli artışlar

RTX 4080, sentetik kıyaslamalarda RTX 3090 Ti'ye göre oldukça önemli bir %23'lük kümülatif performans artışı sunarken, RX 6950 XT'ye karşı da benzer bir performans sergiliyor. Bu delta, RTX 3080 ortalamasıyla karşılaştırıldığında %58'e çıkıyor. 3DMark Fire Strike Graphics, RX 6950 XT'nin RTX 4080 üzerinde hafif bir üstünlüğe sahip olduğunu gördüğümüz tek testtir.

Unigine kıyaslamaları, Nvidia GPU'larının baştan sona cömert bir şekilde lider olduğunu görüyor. RTX 4080 FE, çoğu Unigine testinde AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT'yi %60'tan fazla geride bırakabiliyor. 

RX 6900 XT ile karşılaştırıldığında RTX 4080, Heaven 4.0 OpenGL'de %76'lık çok etkileyici bir artış ve Unigine Superposition'da %50'den fazla kazanç gösteriyor.

Hesaplama testleri: Ampere ve RDNA 2'ye göre önemli kazanımlar

RTX 4080, RTX 4090'a kıyasla %40 daha az CUDA çekirdeği içerir, ancak performans açığı çoğu durumda genellikle %20'yi bulur. V-Ray 5 CUDA ve RTX testleri, RTX 4080'in sırasıyla %27 ve %29 oranında RTX 4090'ın gerisinde kaldığını gösteriyor. RTX 4080 ve altı gibi genel kullanıma yönelik kartlarda en önemli şey oyun performansıdır. Genel olarak, RTX 4080 FE'nin, RTX 4090 FE'ye kıyasla oyunlarda yaklaşık %14 eksik olduğunu görüyoruz.

Öte yandan, RTX 4080 FE, test edilen başlıklarda sırasıyla RTX 3090 Ti, RX 6950 XT, RTX 3080 Ti ortalama ve RX 6900 XT'ye kıyasla sırasıyla %20, %37, %41 ve %57 kazanç görüyor.

Modern oyunlarda 4K Ultra'da oyun oynamak, herhangi bir yükseltmeye ihtiyaç duymadan bu kartla çocuk oyuncağı. Başlıkların büyük çoğunluğu 4K Ultra'da 100+ fps'de oynanabilir, daha zorlu olanlar gerekirse biraz ayar gerektirir.
