A lot of this has to do with the 2-in-1 design and the hinges needed for such a design. It’s not heavier than the competition, so it’s not an issue when it comes to comparing. But for those who want light and portable, this boy may be a bit hefty. Maybe a 14″ would be better for portability. The new keyboard is comfortable, backlit, and has decent key travel. The trackpad is OK but could be improved. I suggest you shell out for the mini-LED display because it is fantastic. It’s bright with great color reproduction and the blacks are great as are the whites.

What we have here are aesthetics-focused notebooks with reasonable performance but limited upgradeability, which is common for laptops in this weight class. It's only once you start to dig in with these machines that you may start to encounter some frustrations. First and foremost on our list are the capacitive function buttons, which are a divisive design choice. Prices for the Dell Premium 16 start at $1,800 for the base model on the company's official storefront. My review unit currently retails for $2,800 as part of a temporary promotion. If you want a graphic design laptop with extra oomph behind it, I recommend the Alienware 18 Area-51. Its Stealth Mode feature disables all RGB lighting, allowing the gaming laptop to fit right in an office setting. Be mindful of its battery life because it's not great either. Personally, I would go with Dell's laptop. Its performance is rock solid, and it is a more affordable option than the base Alienware 18, which costs $3,200.

2025 Dell 16 Premium and 14 Premium Laptop Review: XPS reborn with Arrow Lake processors in a familiar design

The new Dell 16 Premium and Dell 14 Premium have a couple of key differences from last year. The most obvious and main difference is that they are no longer called XPS. The other differences come with configuration and performance. These new machines are now running Intel’s latest Arrow Lake processors and NVIDIA’s latest dedicated GPUs. Arrow and Lunar Lake processors have proven to be much better on battery life with the new CPU/GPU/NPU integration, and that continues to be the case here. Normally, I might advise folks to save some money and purchase last year’s models discounted. But with the new performance boosts, you can’t go wrong with buying the Dell 16 Premium or the 14 now. Dell İnceleme

Oyun oynamak isteyen kullanıcılar için en son seçenek. Yeni oyunlar bu kartlarda çalışacaktır, ama sadece düşük detaylar ve orta çözünürlükte.

Intel Arc 140V: Bazı Intel Lunar Lake işlemcilerinin kullandığı bildirilen oldukça hızlı bir entegre grafik adaptörü. 140V, 2.050 MHz'e kadar çalışan 8 Xe² mimarisi çekirdeğine ve 8 ışın izleme birimine sahiptir; DirectX 12 Ultimate özelliklidir ve ayrıca tüm modern video kodeklerini destekler. Son benchmark skor sızıntıları herhangi bir gösterge ise, oyun performansı GeForce MX570'den biraz daha iyi olacaktır.

Şu anki yüksek kalite masa üstü ekran kartları ile (7900 veya X1900 gibi) kıyaslanılabilirler. Hemen hemen aynı çekirdeğe sahip olsalarda, clock hızları farklı olduğu için biraz yavaş kaldıkları aşikar. Yeni oyunlar ( F.E.A.R., Company of Heroes gibi) yüksek çözünürlük ve full detaylarda çalışacaktır.

Ultra 7 255H: Arrow Lake mimarisine dayalı, 3 kümeye bölünmüş 16 çekirdekli üst düzey mobil işlemci. Hızlı 6 P çekirdeği 5,1 GHz'e kadar çıkmaktadır. Ayrıca 4,4 GHz'e kadar 8 küçük E-çekirdeği ve 2,5 GHz'e kadar 2 küçük düşük güç çekirdeği (aynı mimari) vardır. En yüksek 13 TOPS performansa sahip küçük bir NPU içerir ve vPro Essentials'ı destekler.
