Bu yılın güncellemesi tamamen performans odaklı. Nihayet 32 GB desteği ve yeni 6 çekirdekli Intel işlemciler karşımızda. Yeni model eskisine göre daha hızlı ama işlemcinin tam performansını özellikle yoğun kullanım esnasında almak mümkün değil. Bunun sebebi soğutma çözümünün yeterince güçlü olmaması ve Apple'ın sistem sesi artmasın diye fan hızını arttırmamasından kaynaklı.
Bu söylediklerimiz çok fazla işlemci performansına ihtiyaç duymayan kullanıcılar için farketmeyecektir. Ama performans arayan kullanıcılar, özellikle Core i9 işlemci isteyenler, ilk test sonuçlarımıza göre hayal kırıklığına uğrayacaklar gibi.
