Intel i7-7Y75

Intel Core i7-7Y75 oldukça verimli çift çekirdekli bir sistem çipi. Tablet ve pasif olarak soğutulan notebooklar için üretilen Kaby Lake mimarili işlemci 2016 Ağustos ayında lanse edildi. İşlemci iki işlemci çekirdeğinden oluşmakta ve her biri 1.3-2.6 GHz hız aralığında çalışmakta. Hyper Threading sayesinde işlemci 4 komuta kadar eş zamanlı çalıştırabilmekte. Ayrıca Intel HD Graphics 615 grafik kartı, çift kanallı bellek kontrolörü (DDR3L/LPDDR3) ve VP9 ile H.265 bileşenlerinin işlenebilmesi mümkün. 14nm ile FinFET transistörlerle üretilmekte.

Mimari

Intel aslında Skyle ile aynı mikro mimariyi kullanıyor, bu yüzden MHz başına performansta bir farklılık yok. Sadece voltaj ve saat geçişlerinin daha iyi olmasını için yapılan mimarisi değişiklikler var. Ayrıca geliştirilen 14nm süreci ile daha yüksek frekanslar daha verimli bir şekilde kullanılabiliyor.

Performans

 Core i7-7Y75, Core m7-6Y75 modelinin halefi olarak karşımızda. Düşük güç tüketimi yüzünden de Core i işlemcilerin performansına yetişemiyor. Yüksek Turbo saat hızı sayesinde kısa süreli de olsa 15 Watt modellerle yarışabiliyor ancak uzun süreli kullanımda performans büyük ölçüde düşüyor. İşlemci buna karşın birçok performans gerektiren senaryo için uygun.

Grafik kartı

Dahili Intel HD Graphics 615 grafik kartı 24 işlem ünitesine sahip ve eski HD Graphics 515 gibi 300-1050 MHz hız aralığında. Performans kullanılan maksimum güç ve bellek konfigrasyonuna göre değişmekte. Hızlı LPDDR3-1866 çift kanallı bellek ile HD Graphics 520 performansı alınabilirken diğer senaryolarda oldukça yavaş. 2016 oyunları eğer çalıştırılabilirse en düşük ayarlarda ancak akıcı olarak oynanabilir.

Skylake mimarisinin aksine, Kaby Lake artık H.265 / HEVC bileşenlerini donanımsal olarak desteklemekte. 

Güç tüketimi

Çip, 14nm süreci ve FitFET transistörler ile üretilmekte. Bu sayede enerji verimliliği iyileştirilmiş. Y serisi için genel güç tüketimi 4.5 Watt olmakla beraber kullanım seviyesine göre her yönde değiştirilebilmekte.
