Mediatek Dimensity 8400

MediaTek Dimensity 8400, 4 nm süreci kullanılarak üretilen akıllı telefonlar için ARM tabanlı bir SoC (çip üzerinde sistem). İşlemci performans açısından üst sınıfta yer alıyor ve 5G SA dahil tüm mevcut mobil iletişim standartlarını destekliyor.

MediaTek Dimensity 8400, tamamen performans çekirdeklerine dayanan "tamamen büyük çekirdekli bir tasarıma" dayanan sekiz ARM Cortex-A725 çekirdeği ile çalışıyor. Bir ARM Cortex-A725 çekirdeği 3,25 GHz'de, diğer üçü 3,0 GHz'de çalışırken, kalan dört çekirdek enerji tasarruflu performans çekirdekleri olarak görev yapıyor ve 2,1 GHz'e kadar çalışıyor.

Aynı zamanda ARM çekirdekleri farklı miktarlarda L2 ön belleğe sahiptir: 1 çekirdek 1 MB, 3 çekirdek 512 KB ve 4 çekirdek 256 KB. RAM olarak LPDDR5x-8533 RAM kullanılabiliyor ve dahili bellek olarak UFS 4.0 destekleniyor.

Selefi MediaTek Dimensity 8300 ile karşılaştırıldığında, MediaTek Dimensity 8400'ün yüzde 41'e kadar daha yüksek çok çekirdek performansı elde ettiği söylenirken, ARM Mali-G720 MC7 grafik birimi selefinin ARM Mali-G615 MC6'sından yüzde 24'e kadar daha hızlı çalışıyor. Üreticiye göre, CPU ve GPU'nun enerji verimliliği de sırasıyla %44 ve %42 daha düşük güç tüketimi ile iyileştirildi. Yapay zeka çipi olarak MediaTek NPU 880 kullanılıyor.

Bağlantı açısından, 5,17 GBit/s'ye kadar teorik en yüksek indirme hızına sahip çift 5G'nin yanı sıra WiFi 6E ve Bluetooth 5.4 de mevcut. Video kaydı 60 fps'de 4K'ya kadar desteklenmektedir.

Entegre ARM Mali-G720 MC7 grafik birimi, 2.960 x 1.440 piksele (WQHD+) kadar çözünürlüğe ve 144 Hz'e kadar yenileme hızına sahip ekranları kontrol edebilir.
