Mediatek Dimensity 8550

2026 yılının ortasında tanıtılan MediaTek Dimensity 8550, 4 nm üretim teknolojisiyle üretilmiş, ARM tabanlı bir sistem-içinde-çip (SoC)dir. Performans açısından, işlemci üst orta sınıf segmentte konumlanmaktadır ve 5G SA dahil olmak üzere mevcut tüm mobil iletişim standartlarını desteklemektedir. Eski Dimensity 8500'den farklı olarak, 8550, Gemini Nano V3 gibi AI modellerini yerel olarak ve bulut bağlantısı olmadan hızlandırmak üzere tasarlanmış yerleşik NPU 880 için bir LLM güçlendiricisine sahiptir.

MediaTek Dimensity 8550, tamamen performans çekirdeklerine dayanan bir “tamamen büyük çekirdekli tasarım”a dayanan sekiz adet ARM Cortex-A725 çekirdeğine sahiptir. Bir ARM Cortex-A725 çekirdeği 3,4 GHz, diğer üçü ise 3,2 GHz hızında çalışır. Kalan dört çekirdek enerji verimliliği için tasarlanmıştır ve 2,2 GHz'e kadar ulaşır. 

ARM çekirdekleri, farklı boyutlarda L2 önbelleklere sahiptir: Bir çekirdekte 1 MB, üç çekirdekte 512 KB ve dört çekirdekte 256 KB önbellek bulunur. Sistem belleği olarak LPDDR5x-9600 RAM kullanılabilir; dahili depolama için UFS 4.0 desteklenmektedir. 

Eski MediaTek Dimensity 8500'ün, önceki model olan MediaTek Dimensity 8400'e kıyasla daha yüksek çekirdek saat hızları, ek bir GPU çekirdeği ve daha hızlı bellek desteği sunduğu belirtiliyor.

Bağlantı özellikleri açısından, teorik olarak maksimum 5,17 Gbit/s indirme hızına sahip çift 5G'nin yanı sıra Wi-Fi 6E ve Bluetooth 5.4 desteklenmektedir. Video kaydı, 60 fps'de 4K'ya kadar desteklenmektedir.

Entegre ARM Mali-G720 MC8 grafik birimi, 2.960 × 1.440 piksel (WQHD+) çözünürlüğe ve 144 Hz'ye kadar yenileme hızına sahip ekranları destekleyebilir.
